This is a great product.
My shoe criteria are simple: elegance and comfort. However, because I have wide feet, and would absolutely never give up heels, finding the right shoes for me has always been a challenge. The Sofft "Oriole" Pump is like an answer to my Shoe Goddess prayer. They are almost exactly what I am looking for in a great pair of shoes: elegant, beautiful, and very very comfortable. I wear them sometimes for hours non stop, and do not get tired as I do with other pairs. I wouldn't mind the heels be a little higher, but .. oh.. well.. I hope, Sofft will be coming up with higher heels soon.
Also, these shoes are true to size. In the past, I had been reluctant to order shoes on line, because of my non standard feet. With the exception of Uggs, this is the first pair I braved (though, I did try them in a store first, but the store did not have wide sizes, so, ordering from a web site was still a risk). To my great relieve and delight, the size was just right.

This is my second pair of Sofft-brand pumps, and I think they will be my new go-to dress shoe brand. Despite having a three-inch heel (I rarely go above 2 inches because of the strain on my knees) they are remarkably comfortable. The leather lining is a miracle--when you're used to wearing cheaper shoes with synthetic insides you simply don't understand what a difference it makes.
The Orioles are beautiful. The filigree cut-out is unusual, eye-catching, and elegant. I was a little disappointed in the color--they are more purple than I had expected (I got the Chianti) but I'll survive. The patent trim is a lovely contrast.
A sleek fit and a well-padded insole make these suitable for all-day wear (if you can hack the high heel, of course). They look good with dressy slacks and exquisite with a skirt. I've even worn them with my Victorian reproduction gowns and they are perfect for dancing.

This is a beutiful shoe; the looks are not deceiving.
I did not realize though that they have a 3 inch heel which is too high because of my bad back but
I decided to keep them and wear them for a festive occasion ( with a dress that will match perfectly)
because of their elegant appearance
