Saved my knees! September 28, 2008

I began intensive cardio work out sessions and found out that some of the exercises required repetitive knee use. And, as I stand all day long, I found the tendon around my knee constantly inflammed following a day of exercise. I stopped doing the exercises, went to a doctor and found out I needed shoe inserts I tend to pronate and supinate while walking(!). Instead of paying the large price I searched on the internet, found these and popped them into my shoes. Within two days I found the inflammation gone and returned to exercise class. Two weeks later, still no inflammation. I've purchased two more sets of these insoles for other shoes. Worth the money. But always consult a doctor, first.

As an introduction, I would like to mention I suffer from Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. Normal walking has been extremely tiring, going to the grocery store a great challenge and pushing the groceries cart impossible. I always challenged myself and tried but I always ended up walking in pain to the front door to pick an electric car... I am only 42 year old!!!
Besides all the medical advice I observed myself and I realized that my highly expensive cushioning shoes were not helping: There was so much movement among my feet bones that my feet were in constant pain. I changed the inserts in alas to provide less movement. The surprise is that the rest of my body got the benefit from it. I notice I can walk longer distances without getting tired. The pain in my legs and lower back is reduced notoriously after walking. Fatigue doesn't reach me so early during daytime. I can't believe I can go to the grocery store and even push the cart by myself. I bought more pairs for the rest of my shoes so I do not have to change them and, of course, to avoid bad odors.

This product continues to amaze me. Inserting a pair into any of my sneakers makes it possible for me to walk for hours free of any sort of foot pain and also helps with a slight imbalance problem. This is one of the best purchases I've ever made.
